web site. My name is Dr. Troy A. Freiheit
and I have been in chiropractic practice for 23 years. I am
excited and thankful for all the people that have been helped through
those 23 years. My office has a very high success rate as we only
accept cases that we are very sure we can help.
I had known that I wanted to become a
chiropractor since the 10th grade when I investigated this profession
as part of a social studies class. I was so impressed with what
chiropractic was able to do for people without drugs or surgery, my
investigation into chiropractic continued. My experience with
chiropractic actually began as a patient after a fall lifting
weights in my bodybuilding days. The weight lifting incident
occurred just prior to entering Chiropractic College. For the first time in my life I
was able to experience the magnificent pain relieving effects of
chiropractic treatment just as I had read through my earlier
research.
I
have played to some degree almost every sport known and as a result
have experienced I believe virtually every injury that I routinely
encounter in practice. I feel this gives me a thorough
understanding of what the patient is experiencing symptomatically and
also often times in lifestyle changes due to the ongoing aggravation
and limitations that the painful condition is causing. The
majority of these symptoms presented are headache, neck pain, low back
pain, TMJ, arm and hand symptoms, leg symptoms and other related
disorders.
After
graduating from Northwestern College of
Chiropractic in 1987, I began work for a wonderful chiropractor, Dr.
Robert
Dahl of Flagstaff, Arizona. Through his busy practices, I
was able to
hone my skills as a young chiropractor and gain an appreciation of all
the that a chiropractic can and cannot help. Through this
process, I arrived at a
treatment system that provides very light instrument assisted
manipulation to
the more common manual traditional chiropractic manipulation
techniques.
Additionally, we offer acupuncture, physiotherapy's, exercise
rehabilitation,
metabolic detoxification treatments etc.
 My philosophy in
practice is that of a traditional
chiropractic physician focusing on the curative measures of relieving
the body
of nerve, muscle, and joint stresses by correcting the causes of the
dysfunction and imbalances with the newest and most up-to-date
techniques
available. I attend regular continuing education programs and am
always
on the look out for new and beneficial techniques of rehabilitation and
healing
to add my practice in the effort to of providing the most
cost-effective,
cutting-edge care to my patients.
